[About actual car]
- Equipped with a 71 caliber 8.8cm tank gun, the Tiger II and King Tiger were feared by the Allies as one of the strongest tanks in World War II.
- Production began in 1943.
- At the development stage, both Henschel and  are in charge of prototyping.
- The early mass production model was equipped with a turret with a curved surface design on the front of the turret, and was called the turret type.
-The turret King Tiger, which Hitler said was the most beautiful tank, was changed to a more linear Henschel design turret because its shape was prone to shot trapping when hit by enemy shells.
- There were only about 50 turret versions.
- In the latter half of the war, many German tanks were coated with anti-magnetic mines.
- It has been formalized since 1943, and it is said that King Tiger's turret mounted type was shipped with all vehicles coated at the factory.
[About the model]
-A plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the King Tiger turret, known for its curved turret, on a 1/72 scale.
-In this kit, using Dragon's technology, not only the shape but also the Zimmerit coating applied to each part of the car body is reproduced.
- The realistic reproduction of the coating size and pattern expresses the weight and texture of the finished product, and it is a pleasing reproduction that greatly saves the modeler the trouble of coating.
-Of course, the realistic details and shapes unique to the Dragon Kit, such as the lower and upper parts of the hull, the turret, and the undercarriage, are reproduced to create a presence even on a 1/72 scale.
- The track adopts an integrated type that is easy to assemble.
-Marking reproduces the vehicle of the 503rd heavy tank battalion in Normandy with Cartograf decals.
- An affordable 1/72 King Tiger kit.
