Here we offer another fresh estate find:

 Antique Frary Benham & Co. Fluted Powder Flask, Original, Circa 1855 - 1857. The Fray Benham & Co. powder flask company was only in business for about 2 years and later became the American Powder Flask Company. This one is clearly marked Frary, Benham & Co. on the top flat of the flask.Spring works perfectly. The flask is 8 1/2" overall length and is 4-3/4" wide X about 1-3/8" thick. The body of the flask is fully fluted and appears to be made of copper. The top is brass. Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and lead solder and imperfections with a few small dents expected on used vintage item from the 1800's and the spout is missing. This is an authentic antique flask, not a modern reproduction. The flask is made from copper and brass.
