Vintage 1950s Swim Bathing Suit

Estate sale find.

One piece vintage bathing/ swim suit.

May be an Esther Williams suit.

The one label is unreadable.

Measurements Flat :

bust...36" waist... 28" hips...32"

Measuring from shoulder strap seam to skirt hem...24"; shoulder strap seam to crotch...26.5-27"

Tummy has inside panel to help hold tummy in.

Attached padded bra is soft, and bottom elastic still has stretch.

Empire waist...gathers under bust

I’d say this was close to a medium/large. Maybe a C cup. Please see dimensions.

I've looked it over carefully, and described it exactly as I see it, and taken appropriate pictures.

This is not a "modern" suit. It's a retro, original vintage

I have laundered it and air dried it. It is in almost perfect condition. I don’t see any wear on this suit.
