Absolutely beautiful, modernist work of wearable art by Taxco, Mexico master silversmith Antonio Pineda! These circa 1960s earrings have a well-balanced composition of a fleur-de-lis ribbon surmount with elongated teardrop amethyst cabochon dangles that swing freely.

Marks: Crown mark for Antonio Pineda and Eagle 17 assay

Measurements: approximately 2"L x 1"W, total weight 14 grams. Amethysts measure approx. 16.2mm long.

Overall excellent vintage condition with minor surface scratches commensurate with age and use. The amethysts have eye-visible inclusions and surface-reaching fractures as is typical of Pineda's works.
