Fender Custom Shop Electric Guitar 2023 Collection Time Machine Late 1962 Stratocaster Relic with Closet Classic Hardware Fiesta Red [SN.CZ572645] New Stratocaster

Color order model of the 2023 collection model! ! One of the round rose necks using good quality wood! !

This one is based on a late 1962 Stratocaster with a rose fingerboard! !
Adopted Alder body carefully selected for Fender Custom Shop products by wood selection specialist staff. Riftson maple is used for the neck material, which has been carefully selected as well as the body. The fingerboard R is 9.5R, and the fret is a round rosewood fingerboard that uses a narrow tall medium size that is one size larger than the vintage size. Body and neck finish is all lacquer finish like vintage. The relic finish is a weather check with no sense of regularity and a finish where paint peeling can be seen in some places. The back of the neck has been peeled off from 1F to 12F for a smooth and comfortable playing feel. Where the paint remains, the clear coat has been discolored, giving it a dignified amber look.
The neck grip has a standard “60s Oval C” shape finish on the rose fingerboard model. The low position has a slim neck, and the grip with a thick finish toward the high position. When you hold it, it has a slim neck shape.
The hardware is a synchronized tremolo with a PAT.PEND. stamped saddle, and the machine head is equipped with a vintage type Crewson peg.
The custom shop's raw sound that exceeds the line among fenders, which features a clear raw sound due to the bolt-on structure, has a different dimension of air and thickness when it is output from the amplifier. What's more, the sound produced by the relic finish is such that you can fully experience the vibration of the body and neck just by playing one chord. The overwhelming raw sound is so comfortable that you can play it forever without outputting it with an amplifier, and it is a quality that you can only enjoy at a custom shop that has a satisfying playing feel.

The pickups that reproduce that wonderful ringing are all hand-wound pickups. Compared to normal machine winding, the impression that the amplifier outputs an acoustic atmosphere with rich overtones. The installed model is a 60/63 Strat (Alnico 5/Foambar) made for the early 1960s. Each position is calibrated using a balanced set of resistance values. A splendid sound with a thick and relaxed midrange that is typical of alder/rose specifications. I would like you to experience the tone that makes you feel like a versatile Stratocaster that produces a clean but fat sound.
The control adopts VINTAGE MODIFIED STRAT#2. The volume control has a BLEED custom based on a high-pass capacitor that combines a ceramic capacitor and a resistor, and the tone control uses a FENDER paper wax capacitor that matches each position. With the BLEED custom, it is possible to turn down the volume while maintaining the mid-to-high range even if the volume is turned down. It is a volume control that is useful as a gain control such as lead tone at full volume, backing tone at 6 to 8, and clean/crunch at 6 or less. Compared to general high-pass condensers, the tone is not too thin with a feeling that the midrange remains. For the tone control condenser, by selecting the appropriate condenser values for each position of the neck, middle tone, and bridge tone, the overall tone balance is achieved, and the sound when the tone is cut is also attractive. Contrary to the vintage look, don't miss this one of the modern customized ready-to-use specifications! !
