Antique faceted stoneware Korean Joseon Dynasty dodecagon honey Jar.

A large antique Korean faceted, 12-sided,

storage Jar with a matching lid. Such jars were a part of a Korean kitchen and were used to store honey and molasses. The jar measures with lid, approximately 9" high x 8" in diameter, and the mouth opening is approximately 3.25" across. The Jar is in good condition. There are some chips around the mouth opening and on the base. The jar does show signs of use and age. The jar was fired on

gravel, and many small stones adhered to the base. It is believed this jar is from the late 18th or early 19th century. This jar has a beautiful two-tone fired on glaze. The jar weighs just over 5 lbs.

Jar is sold as is! Please review pictures for overall condition. I have made no attempts to clean the jar. It is very dusty on the inside. This is truly a beautiful piece. Please message me with any questions or concerns.
