Vintage CNR Canadian National Railroad desk top thermometer. Liquid crystal strip originally changed colors to show the temperature range, form tan to green to blue with readout in celcius and fahrenheit. Hexagonal, measures 4" length, 1" diameter. I'm not sure the strip is still functional but new strips can be purchased in lots of 6 for under 8 dollars. Still a neat conversation piece with railroad interest.
