Now here's something off the beaten path: Weird retro Walkie Talkie Spy PENS
The packaging here likely has an aesthetic that's to look older than it really is. We suspect it may be from 2001 or earlier. These are like 'spy pens' but they're not so secretly walkie talkies. Like, they scarcely look like pens at all. These are NEW mint in the unopened clamshell style packaging. These WERE a Dave & Busters restaurant prize/gift item. Batteries ARE included. They are all button cells.

There are unanswered questions:
Why is there a punk rock Chinese child on the front?
Will the button cells still work after all these years?
You have to take the batteries out of both every time you're done using them, it's inconvenient?
What company made these? (The package doesn't say)
Will the pen part still write?
At 7 button cells why didn't they just use a AAA battery?

The package is still sealed, but the plastic is beginning to yellow with age. The art/card does not seem to be fading. There is some wear to the plastic.
