For auction is a vintage Ford Aerospace coffee mug. My guess is that it dates to the 1970s time frame back when AVCO was a player. The caption under the Ford blue oval logo reads Ford Aerospace Data Analysis at M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratory (Lincoln Laboratory is in Lexington, Massachusetts). It has sensational graphics with various radars and domes and a rocket capsule or reentry vehicle over the horizon. The mug has an impressed Made in Brazil on the base. It's an average size coffee cup at about 3.25" tall x 3.5" dia. at the top.
It's in pretty good shape for an old mug. The white surfaces are glossy and clean. The blue is slightly dull-ish but it's all there and looks good. There are a few tiny nips/flakes on the rim. The pictures are an important part of the description, please check them out.
