This non-holo Alakazam Card was one of seven varieties of test cards made by Wizards of the Coast for the purpose of reviewing the changes to the card layout. In addition to the For Position Only lettering, the card also has slight differences from the final Alakazam that was printed in packs, such as a different color text for the Pokemon Power. These test print cards are extremely rare, as very limited quantities exist of any of the seven test Pokemon.
