Exceptionally Scarce. Ridiculously Low Mintage.

This is the lowest minted 1/10 oz Krugerrand ever struck. Only a mere 500 of the 2022 One-Tenth-Ounce Gold Krugerrand Proofs, featuring the special "QEII 1952 70" Privy mark, were authorized for production. To put this in perspective, compare it to the mintage of the Proof Gold Eagle 1/10th ounce, which typically exceeds 10,000 coins annually or even more.

This particular coin features a QEII 70 Privy Mark and has been NGC graded and encapsulated, ensuring its flawless quality. It comes with a deluxe, real wood case.

⛬ The special privy mark, "QEII 1952 70" is a small image incorporated into the design of the Krugerrand coins. This addition bestows historical and commemorative significance to these coins, making them standout pieces in any collection. Additionally, they hold legal tender status.

This coin is also the Last Year of Issue.

At one point, the Krugerrand dominated 90% of the gold market in the country. Its remarkable success and popularity led to other mints worldwide imitating the South African Mint's approach, giving rise to renowned gold coins such as the Canada Gold Maple Leaf, American Eagle, China Gold Pandas, Koala, and eventually the Wedge Tail series. All these coins owe their existence to the Krugerrand, the pioneering gold bullion coin that became the world's first modern gold bullion coin—and remains the most extensively traded gold bullion coin globally. It holds the title of the grandfather of modern gold issues.
