Description:

The ShineMate EX620 5/15 is a random orbital polisher with a 15mm throw. The polisher has a  high quality construction with a focus on ergonomics and delicate appearance, which is what we have come to expect with ShineMate polishers.

This machine is comfortable in the hand and during prolonged periods of use, featuring soft grips around the trigger and head of the machine. It features a progressive trigger allowing for careful control of the machines operating speed on the fly, as well as a traditional speed controller on top, with operating speeds varying from 3000 - 5800/min. The powerful motor has a maximum output of 1200w and the digital intelligent control ensures a constant speed output and smooth operation with vibration inhibition technology. The motor is built to last, providing strong operation and durable carbon brushes with low maintenance. Power is fed to the machine via a generous 5M long cable.

The machine features improved ventilation, helping to keep the machine cool, helping to prolong the life of internal components and the Dust Devil backing plate helps to reduce both heat and dust.

ShineMate Pads

Red: The ShineMate Black Diamond Red Foam Pad has very light cleaning action for removal of ultra-fine swirl marks, car wash scratches, and hazing, leaving a swirl-free gloss finish when used in conjunction with finishing polishes.

Yellow: The ShineMate Black Diamond Yellow Foam Pad has an intensive cutting action that will remove deep scratches, overspray, severe swirl marks, #1500 sanding disc marks, and heavy oxidation when used in conjunction with heavy polishing compounds.

Knitted Short Wool: The ShineMate Short Wool Cutting Pads remove deep scratches, overspray, 1200/1500 sanding disc marks, and heavy oxidation.

Microfibre Red Finishing Pad: The ShineMate Microfibre Red Finishing Pads are designed to offer great levels of ultra fine swirl removal and haze removal on dual action polishers. Used in conjunction with finishing compounds and glazes it's possible to achieve a perfect high gloss finish on even the toughest paints.

Menzerna Compounds:

Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 1000 is a powerhouse of a compound that eliminates scratches, overspray and pronounced signs of use quickly and thoroughly.

Directions:

• Ensure area to be corrected is clean, dry & cool to the touch
• Use a hard compounding pad
• Apply 1-2 pea-sized drops to the pad
• Place pad against the paintwork & use a lower speed to spread product
• Increase speed to 3-4 & work product until only a film remains
• Wipe residue using a clean, soft microfibre

Menzerna Classic Medium Cut Polish 2500 is particularly effective on intermediate to softer paints.

This polish contains diminishing abrasives and is also well lubricated so it can work for longer ensuring the abrasives can break down fully to remove paintwork blemishes, sanding marks and micro marring even on delicate paints.

Menzerna Medium Cut Polish 2500 is often used as a one-step correctional polish.

It can remove surface imperfections, whilst at the same time leaving industry leading levels of shine and gloss.

Menzerna Super Finish 3500 is a high gloss swirl remover that leaves a perfect mirror finish.

This polish uses powder-fine abrasives that get rid of fine swirls, polishing marks, micro-scratches and holograms.

Menzerna claim that the abrasives are the smallest and most uniform in the world, these particles have a sharp edge that can cut ceramic clear coats as well as the more conventional clear coats.

As well as being able to remove light imperfections, Super Finish 3500 also leaves the most reflective and glossy surface imaginable.

Menzerna developed this polish to tackle fine surface scratches in the Maybach and Rolls Royce Phantom and other ceramic finishes. It is however becoming widely adopted as the new standard in finishing polishes.

Directions:

• Ensure surface is clean, dry & cool to the touch
• Apply 2-3 pea sized amounts to a medium/light polishing pad
• Place pad against paintwork & work at low speeds to spread compound
• Work abrasives at medium speed (4-5 with a DA, 2-3 with a rotary)
• Wipe residue with soft, microfibre towel
• Finish can be checked using Menzerna Control Cleaner to ensure all residue is removed
