Our StewMac Buffing Wheel Rake is a must for your buffing arbor! — To break in a new wheel, turn the buffer on and use the wheel rake to remove loose threads and soften the cloth wheel (followed by a quick trim of stray threads with a scissors—after you've turned the buffer off, of course!). — Even after wheels have been broken in and done a lot of buffing jobs, the wheels still need raking and trimming now and then. Use the rake to clean off old compound and rejuvenate and prepare the buffs for more compound. Wooden handle is 15" long, with an ergonomic design for a comfortable grip.
