there is one small hole on the woven part of the 1st tassel and there are some pulled threads on all of these handmade vintage tassels.

some imperfections in the pieces should be tolerated due to age of the pieces and being handmade.

VINTAGE UZBEK TASSELS :
”Segusha”( Triangle) is a decorative embellishments, whose function, was to decorate the beddings tucked away folded against the walls of a yurt or tent. These objects made with great care were attached on the corner of squarish textiles and used as covers . The silk tassels with beads and metal work are charming and they could be used the way they are as wall hangings, garmets such as belts and could be a great touch onto a shawl or belly dance costume as well as a material source for ethnic jewellery designers.
