Belsky (Belski) Mikhail Gavrilovich (1922-94)
He was born in Orel region (Russia).From 1937 to 1941 he studied at the Art School of Lugansk.  Member of the Great Patriotic War.Studied at Kyiv Institute of Art(1951). He was a student of I. Shtilman,S. Grigorev ,V.Kostetski.He had a lot of personal exhibitions.He worked in the field of easel painting. The main theme in the artist's work - The theme of peaceful labor. Honored Artist of the USSR.Awarded the most honorary and the highest title of USSR for outstanding artists "People's Painter".His paintings are in many private collections and were exhibited on the European galleries and auctions. Reproductions of paintings of M.Belsky were on stamps and post cards in the USSR.Active in Kiev.
