This instrument was kept in an attic for at least 40 years and belonged to an elderly friend’s grandfather. According to my research, it is likely a model from 1894. I’ve included pictures of the history of Jaubert & Cie and Lyon & Healy companies. It’s in amazingly great condition for such an old instrument. As a former trumpet player, I did successfully play it. It works - just needs shined up a bit (or left in the antique condition it’s in) - no noticeable dents or damage.
