Offering this beautiful late 1800's example of a hand decorated Limoge tankard mug. It was common for mugs such as this to come to America as blanks with small artisan groups hand decorating them. This one features a common image transfer of a monk tuning a violin. The artist has finished this piece with gold above and below as well as on the handle. He signed his work D. Yohe. The JPL Limoge stamp is also on the underside.

This beautiful piece would make an outstanding part of any mug collection!
