Fast battery charger designed to charge 4 x 12 Volt = 48V lead acid batteries installed in electric mobility scooters and e-bikes.

Basically, it will work for most of mobility scooter or e-bike 48V lead acid battery with charging port to suit IEC C13 kettle plug

This could be your spare fast charger or if use as additional charger when needed really quick charge. It is much much quicker than standard 1.75A charger. It’s basically 2.5 times faster than standard. This 5A can charge the scooter or e-bike more or less 3h from flat to full. Obviously, it's depended on your battery capacity.

"Technical advice"

You may know or may not. Your scooter charging port is under power at all the time. To avoid any unexpected sparks when you going to connect charger plug to your scooter. It's best to plug the charger first to your wall socket and switch it on and then plug in to your scooter.  This Manufacturer recommendation. Better safe than sorry...

Few tips for your own peace of mind

 

1.    Make sure the place you’re chosen it’s in safe environment and well ventilated.

2.    Do not leave charging process unattended or overnight.

3.    Leave the battery to cool down before putting to charge.

4.    Check visually condition of your battery.

5.    Any sign of leaks or damage cells. Do not use or charge the battery.

 

Also please make sure charger voltage and amperage its capability for your battery packs.
