I am 85 years old and downsizing some of my collectibles.  On our travels I purchased this at festival in Knowlesville NY over 40 years ago.  The slate came from a One Room Antique Schoolhouse and this clever man painted all kinds beautiful country scenes on them and sold at his booth.  It was very expensive at the time, but I had to have it.  It is OOAK and is an country style image of the Statue of Liberty hold an American flag. Above is written Land I Love, it is signed by the artist.  The back of the plate shows the beautiful piece of slate and label says taken from one room schoolhouse in Knowlesville NY.
