Offered for your considereaton is a Sash 16” Gregor boy doll with Sasha tube. Sasha dolls were created by the late Sasha Morgenthaler (1893 - 1975), a Swiss artist and artisan. She was also a humanitarian and a keen observer of all the world's children. Her vision was to create dolls that represented and reflected the spirit of children of all races and cultures during their age of innocence. Sasha dolls were made of hard vinyl. Their socket heads could turn and their hands had joined fingers but had a separate thumb. They had proper rooted hair which can be brushed. The 16-inch all-vinyl dolls were made by Götz and Frido and are known as Serie Sashas. Initially the dolls were made of dark tan vinyl so as not to represent any particular race or ethnicity. The boy dolls were named Gregor. The English dolls have no distinctive mold marks. Their eyes were hand painted but most of the later ones have printed eyes, some with hand finishing details. Dolls were strung together with an elastic cord. I don’t believe this Gregor doll is dressed in his original clothes. He is in excellent condition with no damage. The original tube or canister is included. Please feel free to ask questions before you bid. This item will be shipped Priority Class USPS Mail. The item will be shipped within 24 hours of your payment.
