Antique 1920’s Sterling Silver Shell Beaded Purse Art Deco Bag Black Silk.

Beautiful Floral beaded pattern bag with beaded fringe. The fringe is broken in three places.

Lined with Black Silk. The outer shell is Crocheted black fabric that is embellished with silver-toned seed beads in a flower crisscross pattern. The beads are magnetic, so they are likely steel or nickel.

The clasp and frame is marked Sterling Shell. There is a deep bluish patina that has developed on all Sterling sections. A magnet does not grab the frame of the bag.

Measures 10 inches long, 8 inches wide. The handle drop is 6 inches
