Up for sale is this nice Elgin Sportsman 17J Mens Watch with a nice expandable band. With limited testing it does keep accurate time. Also winds up nice and smooth. The condition oft his watch is very good. There are scratches throughout but nothing that stands out. I cleaned the watch and the band with stainless steel cleaner. On the band it only reads “U.S.A. Stainless Steel.” On the inside cover it reads “Elgin National Watch Company SWISS  6926.” On the movement it reads “Elgin 823 SWISS  Seventeen 17 Jewels Unadjusted.” On the back outside cover it reads “Elgin  Waterproof  Resistant To Shock Dust and Magnetism Base Metal Bezel  Stainless Steel Back  171.”

MEASUREMENTS: The case measures 32 mm (without the crown). The case thickness is 10 mm. The lug width is 15 mm. The lug to lug measurement is 36. The band measures 150 mm (without expansion).
