Sometimes you just will never know the story of why projects were never finished...why someone would have started to make a boat load of curtains...line half them...and not others and not finish the ones started. Well even though I will never know...I do know about my nana's quilt...she started it in 1955...she passed before she could ever finish it. I finished it 50 years later as an homage to the lineage of women in my family of which I take after. I can imagine they were for a fabulous mid century Airstream or RV Camper...a old turquoise and white Scotty like my parents had that we even took to Disney World in the 80's. The size of these unfinished curtains would suggest they were for a camper window...and of course the design would have persevered as curtains for a camper. A kinetic electricity runs through the imagery breathing life into the gadget-y like images in a quirky...fun and fabulous way. Maybe its time for you to be me...and finish these curtains like I did nana quilt.

This offering is for ONE unused unwashed remnant if medium weight textured nubby barkcloth...I have 7 of them total that I am selling individually....all are unfinished...4 of them are lined and unfinished and 3 of them are just cut remnants of yardage.  Each one measures 34 inches wide x ONE YARD long. Of course curtains come to mind....but I wouldn't rule out upholstery on a special chair cushion...or a huge pillow...or some small hand bags or clutches. A creamy white ground with pops of utter fabulousness...turquoise blue...candy apple red...teal lime...dove gray...vibrant chartreuse lime...with deepest darkest ink eggplant.  Expect the kind of flawless you'd otherwise have to have had traveled back in time to circa 1952.

I take returns...but who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience. Please only buy if you know you really want it...in other words...I'm here to have the best selling experience and I can't do that without your help. With that said...of course I will take a return...I'm just hoping more the pricing will WOW YA over wanting to return it :) Here is to a summer of fabulous Florida Finds. :)
