Description:

A beautiful and vibrantly colored map from the 1860 2nd edition Mitchell New General Atlas, the map was originally entered in to Congress in 1860.  This Mitchell map has strong & vibrant hand-coloring as well as the extra dark and pronounced separately engraved floral border. This tremendous map would look great framed!

Condition: 

Overall, excellent condition.  Just some minor toning & minor staining (exactly as pictured!).
