Matched pair of 1985 GENERAL ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL 6072A electron tubes. These are NOS and NIOB. The 6072A is the industrial version of the 12AY7A that is used in the first gain stage of ALL 9 pin preamp Fender Tweed Amps. Some Amps such as the pro uses a 12AY7 in the second stage.

I call these the secret weapon.. These have an amplification factor of 44 where the 12AY7A has a gain factor of 40. This gives a little more push on the front end without raising the noise level. The industrial standard requires that these tubes be good to 60,000 ft elevation in humidity up to 100% (non condensing) and a minimum G factor that I'm not at liberty to disclose.
