Up for sale is this cool French horn wind chime. This was produced in the early 1970’s, in Grand Marais, Minnesota. The light blue/aqua color that remains is the original paint. The chime was sanded, cleaned followed by an application of Fluid Film and Rustoleum Rust Inhibitor. These products are designed to prevent further rusting and corrosion. I applied these to this one, directly over the remaining rust. And there is plenty of it. The goal was to preserve the vintage look. The chimes themselves have very little wind sound remaining. This will last much longer as an interior wall hanging. If left outside they will still last for many years to come. Chances are the metal frame will out last even the youngest purchaser. If placed inside they will last several lifetimes. The chime measures 11 3/8 in x 4 3/4 in. high (without bells).
