Charvel's flagship model, the USA Select Series, inherits Charvel's original DNA, with an 80's style body, an elaborately molded neck, a compound radius fingerboard with rolled-off edges, a Floyd Rose bridge with no drops, etc. I am finished in the reliable specifications that a high performance player demands.
The USA Select San Dimas Style 2 HH FR HSS HT features an alder body with a straight-grained maple neck, vintage-style bullet truss rod, 22 jumbo fret Mel (black dot inlays) or rosewood (white dot inlays) compound radius fingerboard, It has a rolled edge and a bone nut.
Pure tone pours out of the DiMarzio DP100F Super Distortion bridge pickup and DiMarzio DP-151 PAF PRO neck pickup. You can use the inner coil of both pickups (position 3), the outer coil of the neck pickup (position 4), or the neck pickup only (position 5).
Other premium features include a single control knob (master volume), side-mounted "football" output jack, black hardware, and Floyd Rose's original non-recessed bridge with 37mm block.
