Early 20th century Chinese circa 1920s wooden box; the lid is inlaid with mother of pearl - possibly abalone shell - and brass metal;depicting two birds perching on a prunus branches; box and lid are both impressed number "39"

Condition: two short tight hairlines under the base and inlaid pattern - otherwise good overall condition. (see photos)
