Miami Beach was a treasure trove of tropical barkcloth delights...the hotels rife with some of the best mohair...brocades...damasks and exceptional leafy tropicals mixed in. I was lucky enough to crawl through many of those hotels in-between estate sales and relaxing on the nude beach catching some melatonin...oh my youth...we never thought we'd have to pay for that sun damage! Many of my ventures brought me inside many a concrete deco apartments building with breeze block garden walls and usually original stainless steel railings...it was here I found this bedspread...really more of a divan size or single size...it was still on the divan bed it had been on since 1940 ish...beside it leafy chalk ware lamps with big barkcloth sombrero sized lampshades...it was quite something...as was every adventure in Miami Beach...a nice souvenir I've carried around with me for decades.

This offering is for ONE very fabulous bedspread cover...it is pretty heavy...all cotton...and is bordered with a creamy lime cotton on 3 sides...now its not perfect...nor was it when I found it 30 years ago...the sun hit down on the right side only in only a few areas along the right side...I repaired it with iron on stabilizer when I used it as a display in my shop. It was washed and is clean...and aside from those lil imperfections as shown in the last photos...it is strong and immaculate...clean...stain free...and sure to tickle your fancy. It really does appear more brand new and unused...but that sun peeked through a couple slits in the blinds! It measures 46 inches wide x 74 inches long...

I take returns...but who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience. Please only buy if you know you really want it...in other words...I'm here to have the best selling experience and I can't do that without your help. With that said...of course I will take a return...I'm just hoping more the pricing will WOW YA over wanting to return it :) Here is to a summer of fabulous Florida Finds. :)
