A beautiful Dutch solid silver novelty box. It is hallmarked with the silver sword mark used from c1906, I would date this piece to c1910-1920. It have been beautifully made in the form of a coal bucket - possibly for a dolls house. It is in superb condition being free from holes and repairs just a tiny shallow bump see final photo. It measures almost. 2 inches (4.7cms) tall by 1.25 inches (2.8cms) wide and weighs 20 grams. A superbly designed beautiful rare example.
