THE HUNT by ROBERT BURNS - 1000 piece Jigsaw Puzzle

This challenging puzzle from Pomegranate by Robert Burns features an image of  the Greek goddess Diana and her nymphs. The wild animals and leopards in front refer to her role as goddess of hunting.

This beautiful work of Art Nouveau was created in the 1920s by Scottish artist Robert Burns as a decorative panel for Crawford's Tea Rooms, 70 Princess Street, Edinburgh. Burns was responsible for every detail of the interior design, from the murals to the cake stands. 

Robert Burns was head of painting at Edinburgh College of Art, and a decorative artist following the Arts and Crafts movement.

Assembled only once and in excellent condition. Puzzle is sold assembled in sections to show all pieces are in the box.
