More paintings in progress to view on my instagram @jackiesmithfineart I returned to painting in 2013, mostly daily painting in oils on a small scale so I can finish the picture in one sitting (alla prima).  I prepare the panels myself, with the highest quality artist's materials, and only use the finest oil paints and varnishes to ensure longevity of the works. Most of my paintings are from life, painting direct from the objects arranged in front of my easel, although I do paint outside too (en plein air) and sometimes from photographs, or watercolour sketches I have made. Combined postage at minimal costs is no problem, just let me know !
