About Happy Mushroom Pottery:

Happy Mushroom Pottery was in business in Sacramento CA from the 1960s through the late 1980s.  It was a major pottery producing studio that provided pieces to places such as Macys, The Nut Tree, the California State Fair, and at various local craft shows.   Many pieces are unsigned, but when signed, there will be a JH, Jeanette Harron, BH, Bonnie Harron, Harron, The Happy Mushroom, or Happy Mushroom Pottery (or MH) as signatures.  Jeanette threw the pottery, and her mom, Bonnie, painted them.

Bonnie & Jeanette crafted mini sculpted bears (Teddy Bear Picnic Room box took 1st place at the Sacramento State Fair in 1982), dragons, fairies, tiny dishes (vases, plates, canisters, mugs, candleholders, etc.), animals, castles, windchimes, jewelry and much more.  Jeanette also hand threw standard size pottery pieces (dinnerware, vases etc.).

The pieces I am offering here in my shop came directly from Jeanette Harron Ashman, who is a friend of mine.  They are the last of her collection.   They have not been previously used.  Proceeds from each sale will benefit Jeanette, who has had to move to an assisted living facility.
