This is an antique wax doll. It was presumably in a seated position according to the contour of the body. Also it was probably depicted in a knitting (needle work) activity as indicated by the ball of yarn on her lap. This item is being sold AS IS because of its condition. The hands have lost the distinct appearance of the fingers; the face has a slight  disfigurement. The dress is faded. All other missing parts have not been determined. It is app 13" tall and 8" wide at the arms. Probably made in the late 1800's - to early 1900's.
