This garlic come from my Romanian garden and it is fresh and non-GMO.

Romanian Red it is a big garlic and it adds a long lasting hot and spicy bite to any dish.  Although it is pungent, it also has an excellent flavor with a strong nutty after taste. We can tell Romanian Red apart from our other garlic varieties simple by the rich pungent small of the bulb.  The heat and fiery flavor compliments Asian and Mexican dishes.  It is the perfect robust counterpart to ginger in hot Asian dishes and can hold its own with strong meats. One bulb  produces  4 maxim 6 cloves. At maturity the bulb weighs about 30 - 55 grams. Please see my own  picture. The garlic last you al winter (about 6 months) if you keep it in a dark, coldish place and you don't remove the whiskers.
You need to plant the bulbils from October to January and harvest June / July time.  From each cloves you will have a full big garlic with 4-6 cloves plus the bulbil in top of the plant. I use it my self for the past years and am very pleased with the taste and quality. It is very resistant to cold (-28) and diseases.  It prefers a well drained soil.
In order to have a big garlic you must leave a lot of space between each cloves. This i learn and experience myself in time.
Type: Romanian Red is a hard-neck garlic and in the Porcelain family.
