Sir Francis Charles Chichester KBE (17 September 1901 26 August 1972) was a pioneering aviator and solo sailor.


The frist person to sail single-handed around the world by the clipper route and the fastest circumnavigator, in nine months and one day overall in 1966–67 in Gipsy Moth IVl.

I don't believe it has been washed.

I believe it  was framed and behind glass.

There are yellow marks at the corners which I believe are adhesive which held it in place.
