Here is a wonderful “Select Grain” Lovat shape Bruyere pipe #16, hand crafted by Ben Wade of London. The grain on the generous bowl tries very hard to be perfectly straight, but misses the mark in a few places. Still, a stand out pipe with a thick bowl and a long shank to add that extra bit of root Bruyere smokiness to each draw. This is the pipe I kept in the shop and it sure looked at home among the sawdust and beer cans. A great, all purpose, knock-around pipe, that will give you a quality smoke every time. Some small dings and scratches on the bowl. Maker imprint is clear as a bell. Saddle bit stem is slightly oxidized with a few teeth marks, but nothing deep. I nice buff with stem polish will take care of it. Bowl depth is almost 2 inches and thick enough to produce a long, cool burn.
