Antique Black Leather Doctor's Apothecary Travel Case. (Early 1900s)

Hard black leather case with snap closure. This was a working travel case. Name of “R.S. BRONOW, M.D.” is gold embossed on front of case. Inner panel flips forward for easy access to vials and a space that can be used to hold folded documents. Case included 8 glass vials (case holds 10) when I got this from an antique dealer about 30 years ago. Vials are most likely not as old as the case itself, but still vintage.

Based on my years of experience and others that I have seen, I would date this to be roughly around the early 1920s.

Condition: Some average scuffs, and light cracking in the leather on some edges and the spine. Spine is stiff so the case does not open all the way. Inside is clean but still has a musty smell while showing light wear. Considering the age of this case, it is in incredibly good condition.
