1/25^th Monogram 1996 Dodge Ram VTS Pickup plastic truck model  - BUILT/PAINTED

This is from the “Dream Rides” series from Monogram manufactured in 2022. The molds, cast in white, featured 87 parts, with nice fit and looks just like a Dodge Ram. The model is built straight out of the box, stock. Hood is removable/posable to expose the monster Viper 8 liter/488 ci V-10 engine. I installed plug wires and brake lines from the brake master cylinder. The interior is black (both satin and black) to offset the cloth and vinyl interior seats. The exterior is Satin Italian Olive with “blackout” wheels and commercial flashes. Exterior finish accomplished by wiping down with rubbing alcohol, cleaning any flash, and then several thin coats of the satin paint. I just loved the results (maybe being military, the color just appealed to me). Final coat de-gassed (dried) about three days and was good to go. Then I applied the white stripes which really pushed the look into perfection. I really enjoyed this kit, and it went together really well.  The finished model will be sent in the original kit box with the original instruction sheet.
