This is a cool, used, vintage, unique Alarm Clock Radio. ROBETTE Earlybird 8 TRANSISTOR. Model TC - 88. I tested and was able to get a couple of stations to tune in. The clock works and seems to keep good time. It's a wind-up clock. I'm not sure how the alarm clock works, but I couldn't get it to come on or alarm, I might not be doing something right. The battery will not be included. It's enclosed in a hard-shell black case. On the back where the hinged part is, there's a knob on one side of the back and looks like another metal knob type piece should be on the other side, but it is not there. It was like that when I purchased. The reason I think it's from the 1960's and it could be earlier but there's a stick-on calendar piece for the year 1968 when you open the radio near the bottom. Please refer to photos. Pictures taken of all sides/angles, including top, bottom, inside battery compartment and close-ups. I do have a video of it working. I will see if I can get it to upload to the listing. When the case is closed, it measures approximately 7 1/4 inches across. The scale shows it weighing over a pound (1.430) Thanks for your interest and looking. It has been used through the years and does show use and age-related wear. But I really like it. I've never came across one like this one. Hopefully the 16 photos will speak for the description and condition.
