  You are looking at a gorgeous older Astatic E-5 model microphone desk stand from the 1950's that comes with the silver paint scheme and 6 inch chrome riser.

 This particular stand has a fairly low profile and it's very lite weight. This E-5 model stand is ideal for all small, medium and a few larger sized microphones as well as all mic clips.

 The E-5 model has a cast aluminum base with silver paint and 3 original felt pads on the bottom to keep the stand from scratching any surface it sits on.

 This was an affordable microphone stand that didn't cost an arm and a leg like some of the cast iron stands with a chrome finish. The E-5 had a modern elegant design only 7 1/2 inches tall X 5 1/2 inches wide.

 As you can see there is virtually no wear on the base. No paint chips, scratches or scuff marks. There are no dents, fractures or corrosion either and the polished chrome riser looks great. The 3 pads are excellent as well. The Astatic badge looks very nice and completely legible. I'd rate this stand a conservative 9 on a scale of 1 - 10.

 This will be a great stand for your Astaic 77A, DNHZ, DR10 or any older screw on mic for that matter.
