Offered for your consideration is a beautiful pair of vintage Wiss SN7 7" scalloping shears.  Wiss was started in 1848 and remains one of the world's most respected brands of scissors.  This is a fairly scarce model and these shears are seen much less frequently than their pinking shears. The SN-7 was introduced in 1957 and remained in production at least through 1976.

The shears have seen very little use and they remain in excellent condition with no problems at all.  The shears have not been buffed or polished and remain completely original.

The shears were beautifully crafted and offer full measures of the excellent quality and performance that built Wiss' fine reputation.  They remain very solid and tight with a very sturdy feel in the hand.  The blades were ground from nickel plated carbon steel and the plating remains completely intact.  The blades are free of any corrosion or pitting.  The blades have not been sharpened and retain their original factory edges with no grind marks or sharpening abrasions.  The edges are free of any nicks, chips, dings, or damage and remain very sharp with virtually no obvious wear.  The shears cut beautifully and they're ready for immediate use.  They have a smooth and clean cutting action with no looseness or wobble.  The pivot retainer ring is the original and shows no signs of stripping or past adjustment with no marring or damage.  The handles have a dark navy blue finish and the finish remains almost completely intact with just a bit of normal contact wear, mostly along the edges as shown.

The shears actually measure 7-5/8" in overall length in the closed position.

A very nice pair of premium-quality scalloping shears from one of the world's finest names in scissors!!
