The item is sold as is, as found and as you see it. The candleholder features thick metal, maybe iron colored black. The bottom is bent up in the middle where both sides slope downward into a curly q or scroll formation. There are five candleholders with flower like tops and cylindrical pipe like stems with a ruffled top. The center holder is a cylindrical shape that has a cutout top to give it a fringe like design. They resemble stylized flowers. The metal pieces then welded together. The base is a rectangular shaped wood block with light stain. The sides have a notched in hand made texture. The holder has five slots and they are screwed on the underside into the wood base. Signed on the backside of one of the stems A. Amendola '76. The holder is large and heavy. Good condition with age related issues. Dirt in crevices, scuffs in metal. I assume the metal is black; I dont know if it was painted. There are wax drops in the candle slots. Under one petal shows silver unfinished metal. There are dirt nicks in black flaws in the metal surface. Wear, due to gae and use. The wood base; dirty, unvarnished and has a dull finish. Some nicks, cut marks and stains. Underside is bolted with corroded nuts in the cavities. The underside wood has water stains and some sides in the wood have scuffs. In one corner, the wood has a water stain. Holder can be tightened, I assume by nuts on underside. May have other issues not mentioned but mentioned most significant. Measures 23" X 11.5" X 7.25".
