Here we have a gem of an album in true classic cut-out tradition. This has all the ingredients necessary to make AOR Classic status; the lyrics, melody, and hooks are all of this quality you would expect from an album gracing these lines. Opener "Catch My Heart" is one of my all time favourite tracks and sets the tone and style for the rest of the album. Keyboards are to the fore throughout the album, which along with quality musicianship and production produce a consistent overall sound. The cover of "Shoe Shine Man" closes the first side and provides a bit of variety, however I've never been against lack of variety in an album when its this good. The standard is maintained throughout the entire album with "Don't Hold Back The Night" proving to be the high point of an equally expressive second side. As you would expect on an album of this type there are a host of additional musicians including Joe Walsh (EAGLES) and ex BLACK OAK and ARKANSAS lad Jack Holder. Comparisons are ununsually difficult to make but there is a definite similarity in sound to FRANKE & THE KNOCKOUTS. If you have not already aquired this worthwhile purchase then I would recommend you do so forthwith. (8/10)

Die LPs dieser Special Vinyl Auction stammen allesamt aus einem Erbe. Da ich den Zustand von VINYL schwer einzuschätzen weiß, gebe ich nur Schulnoten für den Coverzustand. Der Kauf beinhaltet quasi ein gewisses Risiko. Aber: Grundsätzlich stammen aus dem Erbe über tausend Schallplatten, da die ja nicht alle ständig gehört werden konnten, gehe ich davon aus, dass der Zustand des Vinyls in den allermeisten Fällen sehr solide sein wird. Falls das Cover mangelhaft sein sollte (einige LPs waren im Regal über die Jahre zusammengeklebt, habe ich mir tatsächlich die Mühe gemacht die Scheibe laufen zu lassen, um den gehörten Zustand des Vinyl zu bewerten!)
