Myron
Korduba's Pysanky in Galician Volyn is one of the first thorough
studies devoted to Ukrainian pysanky. Despite the geographical location
(Northern Galicia), the author uses a wide scientific context — both
Ukrainian and European. Especially interesting is the visual
morphological analysis of Easter egg ornaments, which has not only
scientific, but also applied value. The decoration of the work is a
large color illustrative appendix with 154 Easter cards, which was made
by Andrii Andreychyn using a lithographic method.
