Klein Attitude Extra Large.

I guess most people looking at this ad. know about the legendary Klein Attitude. They were the best bikes off their era and despite not have all the carbon of the latest bikes are still amongst the lightest, most responsive bikes around.

This particular bike is from 1999 and is an extra large. I have included a screen shot from Trek, in the photographs, to check the size. It is intended for someone of 6’1” and over. In the pictures is is set up for me to ride, I am a little under 6’ and for my tastes the stand over is a little high and reach a little long.

I bought this bike from the first owner who had kept it in excellent condition, serviced by a bike shop. All components are as it left the factory except the tires (which have cracks and could do with replacing) and the handle bar grips.

As you would expect the bike rides beautifully.

There are a few marks on the frame and some corrosion on the wheel rims but presents beautifully, please see photographs.

When I bought the bike it had been retired for a few years due to a small crack in the frame above the rear derailleur. This has now been repaired by a specialist aluminium welder, see last 3 pictures. Picture 24 shows the crack before repair. The area around the repair has been sprayed and although it is a good match is not perfect, please see photographs.

This is a fantastic bike in outstanding condition.

I would prefer collection, if post is required it will be well packaged but will need some assembly.
