The modern wafer disc cut of the 6mm beads is sleek, uniform and symmetrical. This is a great necklace to wear as a single strand of paired with your other favorite necklaces for a stunning layered look.
The beads are symmetrical and uniform in color and saturation with minimal matrix as fine Persian turquoise is known for.

A little history about Persian Turquoise for you :)
The Persian turquoise featured comes from Neyshabur Mine located in the Elburz mountain range of northeastern Iran. Persian Turquoise has been highly coveted for centuries for its superior bright deeply saturated electric blue color. Firm evidence exists that Persian Turquoise these mines were heavily worked beginning in the 10th century, but there is also evidence that some of the mines near the surface may have been exploited as early as 2100 B.C. Persian Turquoise has been used in jewelry for thousands of years.
