Motorola Test  SIM Card Gold Wafer for removing security codes from Motorola phones.



You will receive one Test card like the one seen in the photo. This is used to remove Phone code (security code) at startup and modifying the settings of the phone. If your phone is asking for Special code, this card will not remove that, you need a Motorola Gold Clone Card that I also have for sale (see my profile).





HOW TO USE:




1. Insert Test card and power on phone.

2. Press and keep # key until Test is displayed

3. Press 58# for security or 59# for lock code

4. Press 58000000# or 591234# for standard security or lock-code

The card is FULL size, like in the photo. If the phone you want to work on has MiniSIM, you can cut out the excess plastic.

Test commands




By adjusting the contents of the phone's registers, you can change its menu and basic functions, for example, turn on the vibrate function, if it is supported by hardware.


Note that the following command format is used to change the contents of the phone registers: ???XXX?Y?, where:

? - the symbol that is displayed on the phone display if you press and hold the "#" button for more than 3 seconds;

XXX - register number;

Y - contents of the register (0-9).


Usually 0 or 1 (enable/disable) is used.


Here are the numbers of some registers (there are about 300 in total), as well as the functions that they activate:

123 - display of time and date. After entering the command in the extended menu, items for setting the time and date, as well as the time format, will appear. A prerequisite for the operation of this register is the inclusion of the "Real Time Clock" function, which is activated in the test menu by command 8801#.

000, 001 - enable the ability to write to registers;

149 - turns on the display of the battery charge on the phone screen;

168 - turns on the display of signal strength on the phone screen;

006 - turns on the full display of the sections of the menu "Call functions" and "Messages";

007 - turns on the scroll bar in the menu;

002 - enables the ability to lock the keyboard by pressing the combination of the "*" and "#" buttons;

104, 127 - "Phone book";

081 - enables the function of searching for a record by name;

082 - turns on the function of searching for a record by serial number;

092 - activates the "Call functions" menu;

026 - change lock password";

033 - activates the "Broadcast" function;

243 - activates the display contrast adjustment function;

179 - activates the keypad lock function;

148 - on / off call;

138 - change the PIN2 code of the SIM card;

040 - ringer volume control;

041 - block the phone;

043 - change the unlock code;

045 - change SIM card PIN;

047 - extended menus;

048 - menu language selection;

154 - English language menu;

229 - Russian menu language;

050 - change greeting;

051 - battery saving mode;

052 - selection of sound when pressing buttons;

055 - complete reset of the phone;

056 - full reset of the phone with memory cleaning;

094 - network selection;

203 - change the radio frequency range of the phone;

253 - switch to the 1900 MHz band;

254 - switch to the 900/1800 MHz band;

204 - switch to the 900 MHz band;

205 - switch to the 1800 MHz band;

096 - includes the "Accessory Settings" menu section. This section will appear when a Handsfree kit, etc. is connected to the phone;
