The kit includes a New Quartz Movement Manufactured in our shop right here in the USA. It includes a packet of parts, and written instructions. Once completed, the clock will hook up to the 12V battery just like it did before.  Our Quartz movement draws way less power than the original electric movements. When installed second hand on your clock has a sweeping motion instead of a ticking motion.
