Our kits contain the rough materials for this project. Easing edges , rounding corners and sanding will be for YOU the builder to complete. The few bad feedbacks we get are about this issue.

Our 5 blade UNASSEMBLED wooden propeller kit includes .................................

1 ) 3/4" thick x 1-7/8"  SOLID MAHOGANY hub with 1/8" hole

5)  1/4" x  2 5/8+"x 6 3/4" CEDAR

These materials have been selected for their weather resistant properties and will make propellers worthy of heirloom quality creations.

The propeller will measures 14 1/2" across as is and can be made smaller if you shorten the blades.

Some sanding to thickness may be required to fit the blades into the hub slots . THESE SLOTS ARE MILLED TO ACCEPT .25" MATERIAL.

These milled materials all have squared edges and are generous enough in size to enable you to sand cut or alter the shape to the dimensions for your specific needs or desires.

  Your propeller should then be sanded and painted or sealed to last as long as possible.

All of the materials we use are better suited for outdoors and will last for a very long time . Mahogany and Cedar resist the elements and is why they're  used along with Teak and White Oak in boatbuilding.

Standard Plywoods  will delaminate without constant maintenance and poplar and pine just don't weather well outdoors
